Our Mission.
The mission of TACCTEP is to contribute directly to post-secondary equity and access goals for Texas students; promote development of sound policy for Texas related to community colleges and teacher preparation; and positively impact teacher shortage areas in the State.
Belief Statements
We believe in equitable and accessible educational opportunities for students from all diverse backgrounds.
We believe in providing students an equal level playing field when matriculating into their university Educator Preparation Programs (EPPs).
We believe in fostering successful pathways for community college students through seamless partnerships with university EPPs, the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board and the Texas Education Agency. to ensure that students have access to current textbooks that are age appropriate and written in their primary language.
